I was never very far away from you

But the journey took

​many days

​NB Our soul is a constant presence.Some of us deny the very existence of the soul. Others are happy to accept the existence of the soul as an immanent being which transcends our physical manifestation. But how many of us would spend a lifetime trying to immerse ourselves in the soul? We are perfectly willing to spend our lives chasing material wealth. Few people go beyond paying lip service to the spiritual quest. 

Those who actually do embark on the inward journey with complete focus, attain oneness with the transcendental self. Then, they realise that they were never far away from their eternal soul but realising that took them a long time.
