Durga Astami: Always sunrise time taken, best when combined with Navami. Navami Fast is observed when Astami prevails with Navami. Kent - USA, astami ends on April 14th at 8:59 AM and Navami starts. Hence navami fast and puja has to be done on April 14th along with Astami. But Navami Balidan has to be done when Navami prevails during sunrise which is April 15th. Those who keep Navami fast has to be observed on April 14th and fast will break at 9:34 AM after offering naivadhya to Maa Durga.
